No topcoat or sealer is needed with our Appliance + Porcelain Touch Up. It is available in a high-gloss finish so that you can apply it to glossy surfaces without needing to protect it with any additional coating.
As with every painting project, proper preparation is key. Because it is glossy, it is usually best to scuff or sand the surface, for optimal adhesion. You will also need to thoroughly clean it of any dust, debris, grease, oil, etc. (our Shop Cleaner + Degreaser or our Multi-Surface Spray Cleaner works well for this, and is available in five sophisticated scents as well as unscented), and let thoroughly dry before application. For optimal durability, let it fully cure before subjecting it to harsh cleaners, scrubbing, etc.
