Our paint does not contain any rust inhibitors.
For best results on a rusty surface, you will need to sand off the rust and clean the item (wash or vacuum it, to remove any debris), then use a special primer for rusty metals. Once that is done, our paints will provide excellent coverage.
Some of our customers have found that the paint is sufficient without rust inhibitors, but success depends on many case-by-case factors, so we cannot guarantee it will work in any given situation.
