Paint always darkens as it dries, so even if it's a lighter color in the bottle, it will end up looking different (darker) once it dries on your surface. The sticker showing the color is for ease of distinguishing the different colors during manufacturing and shipping, and is not color-matched to the paint, so it will not be the exact color of the finished (dried) product.
You can test the paint to see how close the match will be by applying a small amount to your surface and letting it dry, and see how it looks. If it is not the correct color, we would suggest ordering our color chart to see if another color would work better.
We offer two color charts, one showing our 12 neutrals, and our 24-color chart with all the colors we offer (neutral + pigmented), to allow you to see the colors in person, and see which color is the best match. Different computer screens will show colors differently, so even if it appears to be the right color on the screen, it may look different in person, so we always recommend ordering a color chart in advance of your order.
If you are having trouble finding an exact match even after ordering the color chart, another option might be to get an additional color and then mix the two. We have some helpful instructions here.
